This is applicable to couples who got married at the Local Government Registries in Nigeria
and wish to obtain the Federal Marriage Certificate in accordance to the Marriage Act, CAP M6,
Law of the Federation of Nigeria (2004).
The re-certification of your marriage certificate would grant you the following
Recognition of your marriage under the law, Marriage ACT, CAP M6 Law of the Federation of Nigeria (2004).
Express recognition of your marriage certificate by all foreign embassies during visa applications
Identification number of your marriage certificate secured in the National Database
National Identification number per couple
Recognition of your marriage certificate to access Federal Government of Nigeria services
This Re-Certification is applicable to all Places of Worship previously licensed by the Local Government Area (LGA) in Nigeria.
With this Re-Certification your Place of Worship will now be licensed by the Ministry of Interior to conduct Legal marriages in line with the Marriage Act, CAP M6 Law of the Federation of Nigeria (2004) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
This is applicable to all companies that have Expatriate
Quota Positions on PUR Status "Permanent Until
